  • 08:00 am: Meet crew at the dive center (Aquarius Redang)
  • 08:30 am: Safety briefing will be conducted before dives

By Bus: Kuala Lumpur to Redang by Bus & Ferry (8-9 hours)

  1. Take a bus from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu Bus Terminal (Hentian Bas MPKT) which is around 7.5 hours.
  2. Then a 15-minute walk or short taxi ride from the Kuala Terengganu bus terminal to Merang Jetty
  3. Take a ferry from Merang Jetty – Redang which takes around 45 – 60 minutes

Bus Ticket Booking Instructions
Bus ticket booking sites are listed below and the trip from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu cost around 40 – 45 RM depending on the type of bus. If you don’t mind travel on night buses, this is a good option if you want to take one of the morning boats to Redang and saves you having to spend the night in KT.

By Flight: Kuala Lumpur to Redang by flight & Ferry (3-4 hours)

  1. 1-hour flight from KLIA2 or Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (SZB) Subang Airpor to Kuala Terengganu airport
  2. Take a 45-minutes taxi/bus from Kuala Terengganu airport to the Merang Jetty
  3. Take a 45 – 60 minutes ferry from Merang Jetty to Redang Island

Cancellation
  • If you cancel 7 days or more before your booked date, you will receive a 100% refund.
  • If you cancel 6 days or less before your booked date, no refund will be issued.

  • Dive season is from March until October.
  • Must show valid proof of scuba diving certification (Open Water Diver certification or higher)
  • Minimum age is 10.
  • It is advisable to bring enough cash for the entire duration of your stay because there is no ATM on the island.
  • A medical questionnaire must be completed before starting any course. A single “yes” answer will require you to be examined by a doctor to ensure that you are medically fit to dive.
  • The registered name of the traveller must be corresponding with photograph documentation (e.g. ID or passport). Dive operators reserve the right to reject if registered traveller fails to provide photographed documentation of their own.
  • It is generally recommended to extend your stay by one night
